Dead of Winter

Well winter wishes! We are in deep dark winter and need to be quiet, cozy and fill ourselves with warmth. Soups, teas, and warm nights by the fire or in the bathtub is what is best at this time of year. According to the Chinese medicine calendar we have another 3 weeks of this special time when we nourish the winter element of water which governs the Kidneys. Going to bed by 10PM and getting enough rest now will help us throughout the rest of the year. Living in balance with each season is like putting money aside in a savings account to be used for a time when it's more needed. Our energy builds when it's properly taken care of. If you are feeling more tired, rest. If you are extra fatigued
