My Story

I have been practicing acupuncture and herbal formulation since 2007.  I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in both CA and AZ.  Additionally, I am certified in Functional Medicine through The Institute of Functional Medicine, the most prestigious and respected Functional Medicine training available.  I completed my Doctorate and Masters of Science degrees in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine at the Acupuncture Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA.

I started my healing journey at the young age of 20 when I first experienced esoteric acupuncture, and began a meditation practice.  I sought out treatment in an effort to alleviate migraines, which not only eradicated my headaches, but also changed the way I felt in my body and the way I saw the world.  Soon to follow was yoga and eastern philosophy studies.  I completed hatha and kundalini yoga trainings from Yoga Phoenix and the Expanding Light at Ananda.

Currently I am teaching graduate students diagnosis at PIHMA, Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, and supervise students in the school clinic.

My style is grounded in meditation, with an easy, gentle touch.  Recently, I sold my busy acupuncture clinic in Grass Valley, CA* and have previously owned acupuncture clinics and taught yoga in Scottsdale, AZ, Solana Beach, CA, Oakland, CA, and Vilcabamba, Ecuador.
