Functional Medicine incorporates your entire medical, social, and environmental history and determines by specific, detailed laboratory testing proper diagnosis. With this knowledge in hand we develop a program that works for you which may include; use of supplements, herbs, exercise, diet modification, mediation, yoga and/or breath work.

Dharma is in my business name as it means to live in accordance with all that is good and beautiful, which is our highest form of reality and truth, so that one can tune into their life's path. I practice acupuncture as it fulfills my highest soul purpose to be of service and give generously when allowances occur.

What is your fee for Functional Medicine?$300 per hour

Do you offer other services?Absolutely! I also offer the following options, at $35 each service : - Cupping - Gua Sha - Aromatherapy - Reiki/hands-on healing - Moxa - Facial rejuvenation techniques

Do you accept insurance?No. However, I am able to provide you with an invoice, called a superbill in the insurance industry, that you may submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement, should your insurance company offer such benefits. As I do not accept insurances please be advised that I am not obligated to respond to any requests they may make of my practice. Choosing to focus on patient care and delivery high quality services is my priority.

How long is a new patient acupuncture appointment & how much does it cost?90-120 minutes is standard for a new patient, first appointment. The price ranges between $220 and $95 depending on location (Scottsdale, Oro Valley, etc.), and case complexity which determines length of appointment.

How should I prepare for an acupuncture session?Never come to acupuncture on an empty stomach. Too full of a stomach can be uncomfortable if you are put face down laying on your front side. Wear loose comfortable clothing, and be prepared to relax. Always use the bathroom just before treatment to avoid having to get up and interrupt your treatment.
